A demo for Konami’s upcoming annual entry in their Pro Evolution Soccer series appeared on the PlayStation Network today, and so we took the opportunity to survey some of the player likenesses to see what fans can expect from the game’s visuals this year.

Some Arsenal bias led me to starting with however many of the Gunners contingent I could find nestled among the international squads available to play with in the demo, and members of Arsene Wenger’s side that made it are screenshotted below for you to make your judgements.

Theo Walcott.

If you’d like to see what some of the other key players from these nations look like in game, or you’d like a snap of anyone from Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Santos, Boca Juniors, or the Italian and Portuguese national sides, then let us know in the comments.

Alternatively you can of course check them out yourself by downloading the demo on your PlayStation 3, although if you’re on an Xbox 360 you’ll have to wait until tomorrow.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 is released next Friday in the UK and we’ll have a review for you sometime before then.

UPDATES

The demo is now available on Xbox 360 in the UK (kudos to Mike Harvey).

And, as requested, here’s England’s star striker.

Wayne Rooney.

I’m guessing Chamberlain doesn’t have that odd shaped head and it’s just a camera angle thing. M

Also, have they improved on Rooney’s look?

Yeah he’s looking down slightly so it looks a little distorted. Rooney looks alright but they need to sort his hair out, I’ll add a picture to the bottom of the article.
